It contains the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament contains many different books by various authors. The New Testament contains the four Gospels, and it also contains the Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles of the Apostles. The Gospels were written by the disciples of Jesus, and the Epistles to the early Christian communities were written by Paul.
